Minister of petroleum Awad Ahmed A Jaz announces that oil production in Sudan recorded 140,000 bpd amid inauguration of AL Barassaya and  AL Gadeed oil fields in southern Kordofan state some few days ago, reported local media on Sunday quoting the minister by saying.

 

  The minister predicts that production will reach 150,000 bpd next year. He pointed out that AL Barassaya reserve records 125m barrels whist 4 and 3 fields record a reserve of 3.4b barrels.  As for field No. six the minister reveals that it has a reserve of 1.7bilion barrels.
